My Story Behind Mystical Horse Tarot

Horses

I didn’t come from a “horse family”, I grew up near Detroit until I turned 9 and we moved about an hour north to the country. I started obsessing over horses at a VERY young age and my parents figured I would grow out of horses. The nagging to my parents never stopped. So I started in 4-H with horses and showed at the local county fair and on my high school equestrian team. My first job at 16 was cleaning stalls and I learned a lot from the Paint breeder who owned the ranch. She let me ride her stallions and school horses. I was in heaven. After 30+ years of owning and loving horses, I’m still obsessed but I have an appreciation and respect I was never taught as a child.

I’ve studied all different methods of riding and training, mainly due to having a dire need for some guidance during difficult training sessions with young horses. I’ve also seen a lot of amazing things during my time with horses, including the Kentucky Derby when I was 16 thanks to my Mom. A trip to the Kentucky Horse Park & The Rolex 3-Day Event, the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show, rodeos, etc. I have also seen some not so amazing things and I want to help guide other horse owners from an experience standpoint and a divination standpoint.

Tarot

I started learning about tarot and astrology in 2018 during a difficult point in my life. It was a divination tool that helped me understand myself more . Tarot helps to clarify on an individual level what may be happening behind the veil, that we cannot physically see with our eyes. It was a fascination for awhile and over time I have come to learn the language of tarot through many different forms of teachings. From doing readings for myself, friends, family, to studying the mystics and history behind tarot through videos, books and podcasts. Tarot is a fascinating to me and like horses, there is always more to learn. I want to help people who have horses understand them more deeply, from a personal level of insight with horses using tarot as a tool for self reflection, guidance and protection from our spiritual guides.
